Have you experienced Oncotype DX testing?

My name is Emily Ross, and I’m a researcher at the University of Edinburgh. I am exploring people's experiences of cancer as scientific developments in cancer treatment begin to move into healthcare.

I am keen to speak with women who have experienced, or declined, the Oncotype DX test. The test which uses genomic information about breast cancer to help women make decisions about whether to go on to have chemotherapy. The test is only used in some types of breast cancer – for more information see the link below.

I would like to conduct interviews with women who have had this test, to hear more about their experiences. If you would like to share your experiences over a cuppa, please get in touch for more information: emily.ross@ed.ac.uk . The interviews I am doing have been approved by our University Ethics Committee.
